Trust the GAMs to think that way. Reminded me of Carla and Turk of Scrubs though. For a pretty long time, Turk thought Carla was Mexican even though her family was actually from Puerto Rico.
I was just watching some good old scrubs episodes yesterday.
The one where JD tricks Turk into thinking Carlas middle name is Juanita. Scrubs sure is giggleworthy.

Well, technically there is a high rate of crimes in Costa Rica as well. The government stresses a high degree of caution when traveling there and to Mexico. The reported a lot of, what they call “Express Kidnapping” where people are abducted and forced to withdraw money from ATMs.
True, but Mexico is famous, or infamous, for it’s kidnappings. You hear about the Mexican kidnappings more often than the Costa Rican ones. This just goes to show that the girls have some inkling of world events, even if they are flawed, exteremely so.
Am I the only one who saw “Express Kidnapping” and had an instant commercial.

It is absolutely beautiful, or was when I was there nearly 10 years ago (boy does time fly!). If you get a chance, by all means, go!
When I first read this, I laughed and thought, “But they’re British. Why would they care about Americans getting kidnapped?” Then I realized they weren’t British (and I’ve been reading too much.)
All I can say is, those girls sure should take a trip to Costa Rica, Mexico. You know… For educational purposes…

I love how they’re informed enough to know that SOMETHING is going on in the world (whether it be kidnappings or volcanic eruptions) but they’re not quite bright enough to put together all the pieces correctly.

I think we can all agree that if the kidknappers don’t give the GAM back by their second day of stupid comments, that Charlie would set up search parties to get them back. They probably still wouldn’t know his name though.
