Crap. Wish they figured that one out up north…it’s snowing in Washington right now!
Technically the west coast is warm in part thanks to the ocean… so they were not completely wrong.

Yah brah, It rarely snows in the UK because of the ocean, and we’re much farther north than LA. We get snow less than say Boston.
That’s a thing, though. My area gets very minimal snow despite being butt to butt with Canada because we’ve got the pacific ocean.
Granted, I imagine being further south also has to do with something. But the ocean playing in to the weather is a thing.
