Charlie covering his ears
Two annoying girls moved into the apartment above me.
I'm forced to hear every dumb thing they say.
These are my letters to them.

“I’m responding, ‘with my BF tonight.’ He won’t know if I mean boyfriend or best friend!” You’re like The Da Vinci Code of texting.

    I’m guilty of this…… lol.

  2. brenda says:

Sadly, I think we are all guilty of this. . .

  3. Lumene says:

I am not guilty! I do not use msn talk. I say it straight up.

  4. Emma says:

He’ll know that she isn’t with her BFF though.

  5. Liz says:

Fifth! But also guilty of this. >.<

  6. BranFlakes says:

That many people do this? Are you serious?

    (That’s not a dress?)
    ( – Archer)

But seriously, really? If you’re going to misdirect, why not just lie straight up?

  7. kara says:

Yeahhh, i think almost every girl has done that at least once…

  8. Julia says:

but thats so obvioius! BF means boy friend, and BFF means best friend. It’s as obvious as saying the actual word

  9. 7UP says:

Well I’ve never done this! Oh, wait, I never text anyone in English, nevermind then. But I am a little disappointed in the average people from MLIA who do.

  10. Morgan says:

Hahahaha I’m going to do this next time :)

  11. Marianna says:

    I’ve never done this.
but this is funny. I wouldn’t do it, but hahahahha

  12. Betsy says:

I always use full, proper grammar in text messages. It’s what annoys my friends the most. ;)

  14. Andrea says:

Just found out about your site today… thanks for the laughs. Your musings are brilliant… as are the absurdities that come out of their mouths!

  15. Lord Voldemort says:

Ahaha ive done this many times before. Its fun!

  16. Maddie says:

I wonder who this poor guy is who she’s texting…

  17. Haley says:

uh everyone knows bf means boyfriend, not best friend.

    • Charlie McDowell says:

I should probably eliminate “BF” from my everyday texting then.

      • Nana says:

You can use BFF. I also heard bestie is in these days. Me, I prefer biffle :)

      • Kat says:

I use biffle… It’s the most fun to say, haha. Couterpart is anothoer popular one, or twin (I don’t like that one….)

  18. Kate says:

Bf can mean best friend or boy friend. But bff is more commonly used (as that’s best friend forever)

  19. Katewho says:

I’ve never thought of this… these girls are clever.

  20. Denirae says:

I’m proud to be one of the girls who HASN’T done this. :P

Charlie, I’d just like to say thanks for this site. It always brings a smile to my face, ever since I discovered it around the beginning of the summer. I shall be saddened if they ever move away…

  21. Faye says:

You know, I think I have blonde moments…and then i come to this webisite…

  22. kassielovesfood says:

i’ve done this hahaha, and in all honesty it’s an easy way to find out how a guy feels about you lmao.

  23. June says:

Hey, found out about your site today. Thanks for the laughs and I feel with you *lives in a dorm herself*

  24. Ruby says:

Haha, I’ve ne’er done this. My BestFriend is my bestfriend.
The idea that I have to decieve or confuse a person who will potentially see my breasts is nonsense to me.
    Xx

  25. Dirty Carl says:

Wow, you all missed the point.
