Actually, around here (near Nashville), almost everybody plays guitar so it’s less impressive. But still hot. I play a bit of guitar and piano. And uke. But any instruments get you hotness points in my book.
People who are really into the harmonica refer to it as the harp. Personally, I’ve always wanted to be good at the accordion.
me too!! the guitar is what everyone plays (or wants to play), the drums are too loud (and kind of a guy instrument, no offense to girl drummers), string instuments sound squeaky and cost a ton, horn instuments are just too hard, and everything else is usually dweebish or takes too long to learn. except the harp, b/c it sounds super pretty, but its way expensive. so all it leaves is the accordion.
Learn the bass! It’s like guitar, but not everybody plays it so you’ll get in more bands than if you just played guitar. Also, guys LOVE girls who play the bass.

This is totally awesome. As a french horn player, I always considered french horn to be the least hot instrument.
I play flute- that negates hotness unless I start doing jazz flute. Which I can do. And it is hot.

I play the Violin, albeit, not as well as say Yanni but all stringed instruments are my favorite. Why you ask? Because you can hum the tune while playing, and i never have to touch my lips to it and blow.
They have no E string.
Therefore, I dislike them.

My friend Ben plays the harp…I was listening to him practice one day and told him he was really good at it. He laughed and said that it’s just virtually impossible to sound bad while playing the harp.
I would have to agree with that. Sometimes I just sit there and play random strings on mine and it still sounds like a song.
