@ Charlie, here is something you can say to them that you over heard somewhere. You know, it’s been bugging me how Mexicans call them selves ‘spanish or latinos” when they are from Mexico.
I thought if you were from Spain you were Spanish, Mexicans are from Mexico, so does Latinos make them *snort* from Latin? Do they even speak Latin? Where the HELL is Latin!

That’s odd. My brother-in-law is from Mexico and is offended when he’s called Hispanic. He hates being lumped in a group of people that are from different places. Jorge is very proud to be Mexican. I guess the “gingas” can’t win.

uhm, i´m from Spain, was an exchange student in the US for a year and got these type of comments ALL the time… i guess those two girls aren´t the only ones who don´t know about my country!
