“He only had beer! I mean, obviously I wanna get drunk, but I’m not gonna get fat while doing it.” So beer is what kept you sober?

Well, he wasn’t going to make himself look like a pansy and have light beer. He has an image to uphold, too.
pshaw!!! he coulda manned up and started drinkin whiskey shots! At least then he couldnt blame the beer belly on beer.
that’s smart of her, and stupid of him- most guys try to keep a balanced diet of beer, pizza, and ice cream…
Funny… just add hot wings and you’ve nailed my diet perfectly! Apparently that’s a bad thing?
this is why we invented the treadmill
Calories should be added to the 12 Step Program.

She does have a point for once…
You can’t actully get fat with beer though.
But when people are drunk they generally have a tendency to eat a lot of unhealthy foods.
I learned that from a show called Manswers haha
Actually, one beer is approximately 500 calories so if you have five of them, that already exceeds the number of calories an average person needs per day.
Actually, that is false. LIght beer has around 100-110 and their regular versions have 150-ish. If you go to micro-brews, they have 150 to 250 calories (most around 200 ). A select few beers have as much as 300 but they are few and far between. This site has some beer, but you can get the picture on calories and carbs per beer. http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm
The caloric content of an item is how much energy it releases when burned in a bomb calorimeter… Since humans don’t burn their food to release the energy, it has little or no relevance… Petrol has a lot of calories, but if you drink it, you’ll actually lose weight…
Dom, your an idiot. Calorie is a measure of energy. You body needs energy to keep running. But if you eat more than is needed to go through out your days activity your body stores it. And your body ops to store it various compounds that make up fat. And yes humands to “burn” their food. Burning is actually just an oxidation reaction. And that’s exactly what happens in Krebs cycle, and is the reason you need to breath oxygen.
Someone should tell her that those little fruity cocktails she probably likes are far more unhealthy than beer.
Agreed, liquor has plenty of calories too!
Not to the mention the sugar in those mixed drinks
@ Walker, What are you a girl drinking light beer? PSH!
*incredulous*
Go for the butterbeer my lady. It ain’t good for you but it bloody well tastes good.
right you are. im about to go hit up the Three Broomsticks as we speak
O rly?? ;)
If something is edible, it’s going to have calories. People need to get over that and enjoy what they’re having. I’m a little more concerned that she wanted to get drunk.
Oh yes the horrors! Girls wanting to get drunk! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
I agree with you Bridget. She was obviously already at the guys house. You can have fun while you’re sober, and you can actually remember it too.
Girl, it’s called GUINNESS, and it should be every beer-loving skinny girls best friend!!!
Charlie, my room mate and I just recently found your blog and think that you should move underneath us; we would be far more entertaining and far less annoying.
If Charlie lived below me, he’d just hear me screaming periodically “WHERE ARE YOUR PANTS?!?!”
I ain’t giving context.
once they change the “light” in light beers to “diet”, i fear even beer wont keep them sober.
Who cares
If she wants to get drunk so bad, she should do what college girls do, soak a tampon in alcohol and stick it up her hoo ha. So they don’t want to get fat….I’m pretty sure there in to those fruity drinks that are about 500 calories each.
Holy yeast infection, Batman!
